When I say sports radio in St. Louis what comes to mind
“Well obviously right now it would be Kevin Slaten, with the way the whole thing has been going on. There has never been, in the 17 or so years of sports radio, someone that has gotten fired and the story has developed to this magnitude. It is one thing after another and each day there is something more.”
I overheard a media person today say, ‘Kevin Slaten is Dan Caesar’s boy and that is why Kevingets so much coverage from him.’ How do you respond to that?
“Ask Mike Smith, our online editor. The way I understand it, when he got fired in April (2008), it was the No. 1 read story on the entire Post-Dispatch website for the entire month. Then, when I wrote about the latest developments recently it was the No. 2 read story on the entire website for that day…”
